Fun Times in New Orleans

Our day downtown started with a stroll along the Mississippi River heading towards the French Market. I love the different items down at the French Market. We bought a salt and pepper shaker set with fluer di lis on them. The kids were impressed that at most booths the vendors made their merchandise with their own hands.

After strolling the French Market we headed over to the Aquarium. Logan wasn't thrilled at first but with Clint teasing about tossing him into the tanks, he came around. I love this boy, who is not so little anymore.

These are certainly my favorite people in the world! I am so grateful to be able to spend some fun time with them.

The penguins were especially fun today. They decided to be interactive with the kids. Everywhere the kids would touch the glass, the penguins would follow. Just across from this exhibit is a nice bench where Clint and I were able to have the perfect observing and resting spot.

After a super fun day of mostly walking, it was nice to sit down to an awesome dinner at Landry's. We had the best New Orleans style seafood and then incredible desserts! It was a great way to end this beautiful day.
