Fun on the Tchefuncte 5K & Fair

As a school fundraiser for Madisonville Jr. High, the PTA hosted a fun run and fair. The weather was perfect. The running route was along the Tchefuncte River and was beautiful. Clint, Logan and myself set out on our journey and about 19 minutes later.....
Here's Clint as he is the first to cross the finish line, way to go!

My sweet friend Tara Trythall and I stuck together, start to finish. It sure is great to have a friend to run with.

After the 5K was the 1 mile fun run for the kids. Off we (Clint and I) went with the girls to run with and encourage them.
Elisabeth and Clint waiting to get started.

The Family

Clint and his buddy, Chris Simpson
They both won medals as top finishers, Clint overall 1st place and Chris 1st place in his age group.

The complete group of Male top finishers.

Hannah performed with the MJH Choir. She also performed in the Showcase of Talent but I only got video of that, no still pics. Choir has been wonderful for her self esteem. Not that it was too low, but she was a little shy at the beginning of the year. Since performing with the choir several times, she comfortably got right up with her friend Laura and sang her little heart out to a karaoke version of Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten"

Logan played 3 different high school pieces with the MJH Band. I am always amazed at the talents my kids have been blessed with and so proud that they are willing to work at developing them even further.

That was such a fun morning! Thanks for running with me! Did a talent scout discover Hannah?
