Happy Anniversary to US

16 years, wow how time flies when you're having fun!
We decided to take off for the weekend to St. Francisville, Louisiana....home of the plantations! We stayed at this adorable antebellum home called The Barrow House Inn. The house was built in the early 1800's. The entire town is like a fairy tale with tons of historic houses, churches and shops.

Here's a picture of our room, "The Rose Room"

Speaking of Roses, before we left Clint brought these beauties to me, 2 dozen!

We woke up to a wonderful breakfast, New Orleans Style Eggs Benedict over grits with fresh fruit served on fine china at an antique table at the Barrow House. Clint and I both love to hike, so that's what we did Saturday morning. We hiked an area known as Tunica Hills. We hiked to 5 different waterfalls. It was beautiful!

Afterwards we had lunch at this great little spot called the Magnolia Cafe. Then off to walk the town and pick up some souvenirs. My most favorite...
A ring made from a cuff link from the 1800's, how cool!
